Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 is upon us.

One of the hottest mobile games of the decade is about to get a new content boost.

There’s no telling where the latest season of content might take the game next.

We have collected all information about COD Mobile Season 8.

Call of Duty Mobile season 8 release date

Thanks to a blog post by Activision, we know Call of Duty Season 8 release date is September 7th, 2022. That means we have about a week until the new content comes out.

The blog post also details exactly what time of day the game falls. We can expect the new content to go live on September 7th, 2022 at 5pm PT/8pm ET.

If you are located in the UK, the release date and time is 8 September 2022 1am BST.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Gameplay Details

We know the new content pack is titled Train to nowhere, and that’s quite an apt name. The new content pack features a return of the fan-favorite Black Ops 2 map, Express, which features a train as the central landmark.

There is also a new perk titled Spycraft. This new perk allows you to hack into enemy ground equipment to use against them. You can unlock the new perk through a special seasonal event taking place during Call of Duty Mobile Season 8.

Fans of the Battle Royale mode will be happy to hear that a new class is on the way. The Igniter class can set flaming traps for unsuspecting enemies and takes less damage from explosions and fire.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Battle Pass

Until the game drops, we won’t have any details on the exact content of the Battle Pass. We know at least some details about what will and will not be available in the Free and Premium Battle Passes.

The free Battle Pass gives you access to some great goodies like the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle and the new Igniter class for Battle Royale mode.

The Premium Pass gives you access to almost every espionage-related reward in the game, including a range of new operator skins. You can also get some cool new weapon skins, including exclusive skins for the new ZRG 20mm.

Store update for Call of Duty Mobile Season 8

As is typical of a new COD Mobile season, Season 8 brings an update to the store.

Of particular note in the store updates this time around are the new Legendary Operators like Sophia – Errant Knight. This new operator is famous for using a butterfly knife given to her by legendary antagonist Vladimir Makarov.

Alongside the new Operators, you’ll have the chance to get your hands on some legendary weapon blueprints. These blueprints include options for Kilo 141, PPSh-41, ZRG 20mm, and many more.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 Events & Challenges

Another major addition to Call of Duty Mobile Season 8 is the Events & Challenges purchased for the game.

The new season’s event is known as Operation: Spy Hunt and is mainly about intel and killing enemy spies. As you play, you’ll collect clues that can be used to intercept enemy intel and earn rewards.

What’s even more interesting is that you get specific operators to target during Battle Royale mode. As you hunt them down and take them out, you will get more hints to unlock more rewards.

Season 8’s new challenges allow you to earn even more new skins and items. You can also win up to 30,000 Battle Pass XP.
