PARKERSBURG – Discovery World on Market is today launching its AmazonSmile Wish List campaign to benefit the Museum on Market Street in Parkersburg.

Discovery World answers the question “What can we do to support the new children’s museum?” with the start of the campaign.

“We counted down to this campaign on our social media channels,” said Executive Director Wendy Shriver.

In September, the organization shared its AmazonSmile wish list of items it needs for the Children’s Museum with businesses and community residents.

“Several people and companies have reached out and asked me what we need for the museum.” said Shriver.

“My response was to make a wish list of items we need to buy for the museum and share it with the community.” She said. “Some donors and supporters have expressed an interest in buying something we need.”

AmazonSmile is a simple and automated way for the community to support the children’s museum with every purchase, at no additional cost to the buyer, she said.
