Dragon Ball partnership is coming to PUBG Mobile next year

Dragon Ball is coming to PUBG Mobile in 2023, announced shortly after the anime arrived in Fortnite.
The partnership is set to celebrate the worldwide release of the new film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
It’s currently unclear exactly what the collaboration will entail, although it will likely be specifically about the film.
A press release shared with Eurogamer indicates that there have been previous collaborations with anime: notably Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jujutsu Kaisen and Arcane.
For example, the collaboration with Neon Genesis Evangelion had themed cosmetic items, as well as a unique Core Circle mode.
The Dragon Ball: Super Hero movie is out now, a few months before anything comes into play.
Meanwhile, just two weeks ago, Dragon Ball arrived in PUBG battle royale rival Fortnite. These included cosmetic items and emotes, as well as missions and the legendary Kamehameha move.
This crossover has proven incredibly popular, so it’s understandable why the developers of PUBG would want a piece of the action too.
Earlier this month, PUBG publisher Krafton reported that PUBG: Battlegrounds has been adding 80,000 new players daily since it went free-to-play. This is the full version of the game, but on mobile the game has also seen an increase in ‘total playtime and play count’.
