UNDATED (AP) — There’s been a lot of demand for a front-row seat to watch the turnaround at the University of Colorado under Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders. The Buffaloes sold 11,273 single-game tickets Wednesday. It is the highest single-game daily total in team history. The school’s season ticket contingents were already sold out. Demand has skyrocketed since Sanders took over the seedy program in early December. Even the spring game was sold out. Sanders and his veteran coaching staff have much work ahead of them to turn around a program that ended 1-11 last season.

UNDATED (AP) – Scouting and recruiting players on the NCAA transfer portal has become an important part of building a college football program. And the process is going fast. To sift through a mountain of names, NFL-style HR departments use data and statistics from online analytics companies to more efficiently identify players who can help their teams. Information and services from companies like SportSource Analytics, Tracking Football and The UCReport have become essential in the new age of free choice in college football.

UNDATED (AP) – The spring transfer window lasts just 15 days and isn’t nearly as active as the 45-day post-college football season window — except in Colorado. Coach Deion Sanders’ team has added 20 transfers since the portal window opened on April 15th. The Buffaloes have up to 48 total transfers, according to 247 Sports, and have room for more. Other schools focus on quality over quantity. USC, Alabama, Auburn and Northwestern are among the six winners of the spring transfer season.
