Here’s a recap of Thursday, March 24th’s high school varsity action.
Havre de Grace 10, Harford Tech 7: Wyatt Molyneux had three goals and two assists to lead the visiting Warriors past the Cobras. Logan Rogers and Cole Bravo each added two goals to the win. Garrett Gladfelter had one goal and two assists. Liam Whitehead made 10 saves.
Malvern Prep (Pa.) 12, Calvert Hall 11: The host Cardinals (1-3) made a late comeback but were defeated by the Friars (2-0) on Thursday. The loss was the third straight.
McDonogh 8, Nobles and Greenough (Mass.) 5: The host Eagles (6-0) put on a 4-0 run in the fourth quarter to secure a comeback win over the Bulldogs (0-1). Brendan Millon (two goals and one assist) equalized with 11:24 left and AJ Marsh got the go after an assist from Luke Miller (two goals) with 9:21 left to play for McDonogh.
Bullis 8, Archbishop Spalding 7: The visiting Bulldogs (3:1) beat the Cavaliers (1:4) 4:1 in the second half and won. Virginia’s Chase Band scored his fourth goal, 7-18 for an 8-6 Bullis lead. The loss was the fourth straight.

Gilman 12, Western Reserve (Ohio) 11: The home Greyhounds (1-2) scored 10 goals in the second half, passing the Pioneers (5-2). In the final minute, Jay Wilkerson completed his hat-trick with five minutes remaining to put Gilman 11-8 up. With 45 seconds remaining, Warry Colhoun took a 12-10 lead in front of an empty net.
St. Paul’s 12, Landon 9: The Visiting Crusaders (2-3) have won their last two games. The Bears fell to 0:2.
Century 12, Gerstell 6: Marley Carfine equalizes the Falcons himself with six goals as the Knights advanced to 2-0. Jane Brewer scored a hat-trick to win while Delaney Sandbank, Natalie Opatovsky and Harli Hamlett also scored. Sandbank also had three assists.
Severna Park 15, North County 2: Alyssa Gore-Chung had a hat-trick to lead the host Falcons over the Knights. Jaclyn Bange made eight saves for North County.
Broadneck 18, Arundel 8: The home side Bruins (2-0) beat the Wildcats. Broadneck used a tough defense and a transitional offense to win.
South River 12, Southern 9: Alex Alto had a hat-trick to lead the visiting Seahawks over the Bulldogs.
