All-day business symposium to showcase Hispanic Heritage Month
Boca Raton, FL – International speakers, bilingual workshops and panels will highlight the Hispanic Entrepreneur Initiative’s all-day Hispanic Business Impact Symposium on September 22 in Boca Raton.
Workshops on state procurement, exports, certifications and other important business information also teach cultural mindsets and successful exporting. Panel discussions range from business law, accounting, insurance and finance to women’s entrepreneurship.
The symposium brings together local and regional government officials; economic development agencies; community leader; corporate partners, sister organizations; the philanthropic and academic communities; College students and small business owners and entrepreneurs.
“Our goal is to empower and inspire 200 entrepreneurs to create a sustainable corporate culture in the United States,” said Mary Sol Gonzalez, co-founder and CEO of HEI. “Also as part of Hispanic Heritage Month September 15th to October 15thDuring our awards ceremony, we will celebrate and recognize the impact and achievement of five entrepreneurs and three companies in the Hispanic community.”
A first of its kind in the region, the symposium is being hosted in partnership with the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Palm Beach County; City of Boca Raton Economic Development, Research Park at FAU and SBDC at FAU; SCORE Palm Beach County, Boca Raton Airport Authority, Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, Lebolo Construction and Hispanic business leaders.
