Xcel Energy is demonstrating its new all-electric shovel truck
Xcel Energy representatives joined Kevin Doran to showcase their new all-electric shovel trucks. Xcel is the first utility in the country to introduce these all-electric vehicles to its fleet and will be testing them in the Twin Cities over the next six to 12 months.

Meet Evelyn Otto with Wright Co. 4-H
Evelyn Otto will begin her senior year at Delano High School in the fall. She lives on a hobby farm and sewed a woolen dress for this year’s 4-H project. Otto was selected as one of Minnesota’s 4-H State Ambassadors this year.

Kiwanis Malt Shop
Todd Levig from the Kiwanis Malt Shop showed Kevin how to pour the perfect ice cream malt. Kiwanis Malt Shop has been an integral part of the great Minnesota gathering for 53 years, with 100% of proceeds supporting Minnesota children’s charities.

International Overdose Awareness Day
The Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge joined Doran to share information about substance use and overdoses, demonstrated how to use the life-saving drug naloxone, and provided information and resources, including fentanyl test strips.
