LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell’s new teammates, and the internet are reacting to the Jazz Cavs trade

Finally it happened.
The Utah Jazz traded Donovan Mitchell.
But it wasn’t for the New York Knicks as many had been predicting for months. It was the Cleveland Cavaliers who landed the all-star guard in exchange for a slew of picks and young talent.
What? The Cavaliers? YES, REALLY?! That was the Twitter discourse as ESPN broke the news Thursday afternoon.
When the initial shock wore off, fans and NBA players alike looked forward to Mitchell’s move to Cleveland.
Including his new teammates.
Mitchell himself also offered his first public response. He did this on Instagram and posted two photos: one of him in a Cavs jersey (we’re guessing it’s a LeBron James jersey) and another of this Brian Windhorst meme. you know him
Many jazz fans thanked Mitchell for his years in Utah and his influence in the community.
Other fans had some fun with Mitchell’s departure.
