McKibbin Media Group Announces Entertainment for 2nd Annual Fall Festival & Chili Classic | WKHM-AM

Jackson, Mich. – K105.3’s Fall Fest & Chili Classic, presented by Tripp’s Collision, Bud Light, County National Bank and Monster Motors, will be held at Michigan Ave. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. in downtown Jackson for the second time: 30 p.m.

With the event fast approaching, McKibbin Media Group (MMG) is pleased to announce its live entertainment program for the fall event.

Local blues musicians perform on the main stage, sponsored by Harvest Solar Kevin Nichols from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. during the Chili Classic. Your generation in concert will be headlining the festival this year from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, followed by fireworks in the heart of downtown Jackson courtesy of Tripp’s Collision.

Your Generation in Concert is an eight-piece band celebrating five decades of pop, rock, dance and R&B hits. All musical performances taking place during the Fall Fest & Chili Classic are free.

New for 2022 is the addition of a second stage, which will host acoustic performances by country artists throughout the day at Bucky Harris Park Todd Michael and Pete Johnson, Kaylyn Pace, Whiskey and Wine and returning Fall Fest ’21 artist Jason Cross. The Power Cow stage, named after McKibbin Media Group’s country music station 95.9 The Power Cow, is sponsored by Monster Motors.

“It’s important to have live entertainment in downtown Jackson for this event, so we felt it was necessary to add more music to the 2022 event based on feedback from our audience and sponsors. Having a successful group like Your Generation headlining Fall Fest and Chili Classic will be wonderful and adding a power cow/country music stage with local talent this year [some now living in Nashville] will provide the event with even more music for the guests. It’s going to be a fun day of music,” said Katina McKibbin, President and Owner of McKibbin Media Group.

The festival, which is free to enter, consists of a chilli competition open to anyone, a variety of vendors, free children’s activities including a petting zoo and pony rides, live music throughout the day and fireworks.
