FORT WAYNE — Parkview Sports Medicine (PSM) is launching the PSM Holiday Shootout, a new basketball showcase featuring 13 area high schools.
The launch event is scheduled for December 29-30 at Trine University’s MTI Center. The girls teams play on December 29th and the boys teams on December 30th. The participating teams will compete at a high level on a college campus, creating an unforgettable experience for players, coaches and fans.
“Like the PSM Baseball Series in the spring, the PSM Holiday Shootout is a fun and competitive event for student athletes to enjoy during the winter months,” said Tommy Schoegler, PSM vice president of orthopedics and public relations. “As a proud partner of 31 high schools across the region, PSM is committed to helping our athletes grow. In addition to providing athletes with excellent medical care during training, we want to create sporting opportunities and events that they will remember for a lifetime.”
As a partner of PSM and a supporter of high school athletics, Trine University is providing the MTI Center as a venue for the PSM Holiday Shootout. Home of Trine University men’s and women’s basketball, the 3,500-seat MTI Center, which opened in 2018, is recognized as one of the premier arenas in the NCAA Division III. The MTI Center is located at 1215 Thunder Drive, Angola, Indiana.
Parkview Sports Medicine’s live streaming partner, Summit City Sports, will broadcast all 15 Shootout games on SummitCitySports.com.
