Pennsylvania Farmhouse In Upcoming Movie ‘The Veil’ Is On The Market For $950

Looking for something historic with a spooky edge? Then you might be interested in the hauntingly beautiful farmhouse located at 946 Goram Rd. in Brogue, Pennsylvania. It is listed for $950,000.

The atmospheric abode plays a key role in Cameron Beyl’s horror flick, “The Veil,” which hits theaters in 2023. A preview of the film notes that the cinematic story incorporates sci-fi and mystery, and promises “strange intrigues and puzzles”.

The restored stone farmhouse, the main setting of the film, is one of the oldest in the region. It was built in the late 1700s and used for many years as a wheat mill.

The original farm equipment can still be found in the three buildings on the property, which include the main house, the garage and a Scotch-Irish log barn. There are a grand total of nine bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

It’s easy to see why Beyl chose the farm for his period film, as it truly feels like stepping back in time.

It features exposed beams, original woodwork, wide plank hardwood floors and a master bedroom with a working fireplace.

One of the first residents of the house is said to have been Captain Joseph Reed, one of George Washington’s aides-de-camp during the Revolutionary War.

This 52-acre creekside property also marked another achievement: As a lucrative listing on Airbnb, it has already brought in more than $25,000 this year.
