“Succession”: who will end up wearing the crown? (SURVEY) | Entertainment

The successor is on the home stretch, and with it the question of who will come out on top.

Without patriarch Logan Roy (Brian Cox) at the helm of Waystar Royco, things between siblings Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook) and Roman (Kieran Culkin) quickly sour. While the eldest Connor (Alan Ruck) seems more interested in securing a future in the political landscape, Shiv, Roman and Kendall engage in power games that haven’t really paid off yet.

After allowing Mencken (Justin Kirk) to become president and continuing to push Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) to take over the company, it seems the game is everyone’s cup of tea. While it doesn’t matter who “wins” the lead role, there’s no sign that anyone on this series has a “happy” ending in sight.

Still, it’s interesting to think about who will manage to grab the spot Logan left, no matter how incapable they are of actually filling it. With only one episode left, the result is weighing heavily on fans, who will no doubt have differing opinions. Whether you’re championing one of these crooked characters or just hoping things get turned on their head, we want to hear from you.

Who do you think will wear the metaphorical crown? Will it be one of the Roys? A longtime member of the Waystar team like Gerri (J. Smith-Cameron)? Or will a new leader make it? Take the poll below and listen in the comments section.

Succession, Series Finale, Sunday May 28, 9/8c, HBO and Max
