T-Mobile lets you try its unlimited network for free for three months – Review Geek

Like all major wireless carriers, T-Mobile wants you on their network. And now you can try it yourself without the hassle of officially switching networks or the financial risk of breaking your contract. All you have to do is download the T-Mobile app.
The edge reports that the company has updated its iOS and Android apps to include a feature called Network Pass. This feature lets your phone use T-Mobile’s wireless network with unlimited data for three months, allowing you to compare and contrast things like coverage, speed, reliability and more. And all without giving up your current wireless service provider.
When you reach the end of your three-month trial and are ready to switch to T-Mobile, the company offers an Easy Switch method to walk you through the process as painlessly as possible.
The new recruiting program is made possible by eSIMs, an embedded version of a SIM card. Instead of a chip that you can slip in and out of smartphones, an eSIM is built into your phone’s hardware. Because eSIMs are reprogrammable, they aren’t married to any company like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, allowing carriers to bring your phone onto their network without officially switching service.
