The final countdown to World Pork Expo 2023 begins

In just under two weeks, the world’s largest trade fair for pork will be celebrating its 35th anniversary. The World Pork Expo will be held again June 7-9 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. Presented by the National Pork Producers Council, this year’s Expo will offer visitors a full program of events including a major trade show, educational seminars and numerous networking events.
“World Pork Expo has always been about networking, education and innovation,” said NPPC Chairman Scott Hays. “As we celebrate the show’s 35th anniversary, World Pork Expo continues to offer you, as a producer or industry partner, the opportunity to find out how you can take your business forward.”
Here’s a look at what to expect from this year’s Expo:
Visit the fair on an area of more than 300,000 square meters
The latest and most innovative products from the pork industry will be on display at almost 700 stalls on all three days of the event. For the updated schedule of events, visit the Fair and Activities page on the World Pork Expo website. You can also view the list of exhibitors and trade fair plans online.
Network with other industry experts
In addition to the fair, you will find more than 50 hospitality tents conveniently placed on the fairgrounds. Expo visitors can stop by and visit company representatives to learn about the latest innovations and developments. Allow yourself enough time to take advantage of these valuable networking opportunities.
Start every day right
Expo-goers can have breakfast at McRig on June 7th and 8th from 8am-10am, courtesy of Lopez Foods, Fulton Market Group and McDonald’s, to fuel your day of learning and networking. The McRig is located on Grand Avenue, west of the main entrance.
Attend training events to expand your industry knowledge
Included in the price of admission, attendees can attend various business seminars and Pork Academy sessions. These offerings cover wide-ranging topics such as profitability, production processes and more. These seminars provide valuable insight into many aspects of the pork industry and help growers take their business to the next level.
