The Ladas pharmacy in Mobile was searched by federal agents from the DEA

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) β A mobile pharmacy was raided by federal agents on Wednesday afternoon.
Two search warrants were served on the Ladas pharmacy, according to a Drug Enforcement Administration supervisor.
Mobile police and the sheriff’s office were also on site, but we were told they were only assisting.
This is a federal investigation and as of Wednesday afternoon the pharmacy in question has been closed.
The DEA agents who were there turned every customer around and told them the store was closed.
After several hours, the agents came out with boxes.
The DEA warden says two federal search warrants were obtained for the pharmacy but not the grocery area of ββthe store.
The search warrants involved owner Fazal Awan and an LLC called Just Kidz Medical Center in Mobile.
The DEA has issued an immediate suspension order to the pharmacy, which is a matter of protocol.
Company officials did not comment on the DEA search warrants.
FOX 10 News does not believe anyone has been arrested.
Our crews called the US Attorney’s Office several times to learn more about the search warrants, but we heard nothing.
