The NBA world reacts to the blockbuster Donovan Mitchell trade

The NBA world was just set on fire with some blockbuster business news involving three-time All-Star Donovan Mitchell.
ESPN-NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski dropped a veritable “Woj bombshell” Thursday afternoon, announcing the acquisition of Mitchell by the Cleveland Cavaliers in a massive trade with the Utah Jazz.
The NBA world took to Twitter to react to the news.
“Wow! I’ve seen rumors and the Cavs as a target but I didn’t think that was going to happen!” wrote a fan.
“Have fun in Ohio, Diva Mitchell,” said another.
“Well, that’s okay. Very interested to see what Ainge got from the Cavs. Knicks needs to continue to be patient in this process and use our fortune for someone else later,” added another.
“The East will be stacked this year,” wrote another.
Follow-up reports from Wojnarowski revealed the full details of the trade:
“Utah trades Donovan Mitchell to Cleveland for Lauri Markkanen, Ochair Agbaji, Collin Sexton, three unprotected first-round picks and two pick swaps.”
Mitchell finished his third straight All-Star season averaging 25.9 points, 5.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in 2021-22.
With young stars like Evan Mobley, Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen, the new-look Cavs should be a much-improved roster with Mitchell next season.
