The new entertainment complex in Baltimore is almost ready

Things really get going in the Warner Street Entertainment District, the area between the Horseshoe Casino and the stadiums, which will soon feature two new world-class venues. What used to be an area of abandoned warehouses and a car park now has plenty to offer. Construction work is underway at some of the main venues such as Topgolf. The Topgolf facility, part of the Warner Street Entertainment District, is nearly ready for its grand opening years ago,” said Kim Clark, executive vice president of Baltimore Development Corp. Paramount Baltimore, a nearly 4,000-seat venue, is also nearly finished there some questions about the property which is in the middle of the two venues, only residential building material at the moment but will eventually be the site for a hotel with restaurants and function space. The project, like most, had some challenges. The urban environment used to be industrial, so there were problems with the routing of power and water lines. And part is built in a flood plain, and nearby Ridgley’s Cove is still a critical part of the bay. “There’s a lot of challenges in dealing with the Army Corps of Engineers the critical area commission and making sure we’re doing this right, not to get through it, but to get it right,” Clark said. “I think people need the potential realize that the city and Warner Street have – it’s just a small factor that can affect the potential for Baltimore City.” The Paramount Baltimore Theater is expected to open in January or February 2023 and the Top Golf is expected to open in November or December opened this year.

The Topgolf facility, part of the Warner Street Entertainment District, is almost ready for its grand opening.
“As you can see, things are looking a little different than a few years ago,” said Kim Clark, executive vice president of Baltimore Development Corp.
Almost three years ago there were only artistic representations of what the neighborhood would look like, but now it’s becoming a reality.
Across from the Top Golf, the Paramount Baltimore, a nearly 4,000-seat venue, is also almost complete.
“That will host everything from concerts to mixed martial arts to boxing events and also provide people with a private dining room and club,” Clark said.
There are still a few unanswered questions about the property, which is located in the middle of the two event locations, currently only residential building material, but ultimately a location for a hotel with restaurants and event space.
