West Side Sports Bar Named “America’s Best Dining”

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (NEWS10) — The West Side Sports Bar at 112 Congress Street in Saratoga Springs is named to “America’s Best Restaurants.” The show will be in the restaurant on April 11th from 5pm to 8pm

America’s Best Restaurants is a national media and marketing company focused on locally owned, independently owned restaurants. During the visit to the West Side Sports Bar, popular dishes will be featured, along with an on-camera interview with owner Dave Harmon.

In 2022, Harmon opened Stadium Café at 389 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, but the restaurant later closed. In 2005 he opened the West Side Sports Bar.

“People love the place; it has big windows,” Harmon said. He added that the restaurant is popular at the Saratoga Racetrack during race season. Harmon said West Side is best known for its buffalo-style calamari, burgers, salads and chicken wings.

To celebrate being named in America’s Best Restaurants, the restaurant is giving away two $25 gift cards. To qualify, you must comment on the West Side Sports Bar Facebook post before April 11th. One winner will be chosen during the visit to America’s Best Restaurants, and the other after the show’s premiere.

PDT Market opens in Saratoga Springs

The premiere date of the West Side Sports Bar episode will be announced on their Facebook page and featured on America’s Best Restaurants website. The restaurant is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m
