What weather can North Carolina expect for the summer of 2023?

Get ready because it’s going to be a scorching summer in North Carolina.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released its weather forecast for June, July and August, shedding light on what summer temperatures will look like for states across the country.
For the most part it will be quite warm.

According to NOAA, North Carolina could experience above normal temperatures for the next three months and potentially a wetter than normal summer.
This matches the Farmer’s Almanac forecast, which said temperatures across the country would hit highs in the 90s, even topping 100 degrees in our area, The Charlotte Observer previously reported.
Charlotte’s temperatures have yet to reach 90 degrees, but forecasts show the city will likely hit the mid-80s by early June.
