HUAWEI CEO shares three highlights of upcoming Mate 50 series including XMAGE and more

It’s another month full of launches of several flagship smartphone series and HUAWEI is on the list. Earlier, CEO Richard Yu shared three highlights of what we can expect from HUAWEI Mate 50 seriesthose are some exciting ones.
As some of you may know, the company has previously introduced its in-house imaging system, XMAGE. It’s been rumored to be unveiled on the Mate 50 and the CEO may have just confirmed it’s happening. We wonder if it’s learned a thing or two to continue delivering top-notch photo capabilities, given the company’s previous association with Leica.
Besides, the upcoming series of smartphones could also offer satellite connectivity for emergency SMS services, as Yu mentioned a technology that can “pierce the sky upwards.” Finally, the new generation of the in-house operating system HarmonyOS 3 is presented. A highly anticipated feature that allows the phone to maintain limited functionality even when the battery is dead. Rumors suggest it could achieve things like keeping NFC operational, mobile payments, local transit cards, and even calling.
