NatureTrack Film Festival open for film submissions | Entertainment

Film submissions will be accepted for the NatureTrack Film Festival, which will be held in Goleta this year.

Although the annual event originated in Los Olivos and has been hosted in the city for the past four years, festival organizers say it will make its debut this year at the Metropolitan Fairview Theater in Goleta.

Festival dates are scheduled for Friday through Sunday, October 6th through 8th.

In addition, a one-day film event entitled “Best of the Fest” will be held in Los Olivos the following weekend. Further details will be announced later.

The three-day program, themed “Ignite a passion for nature through film,” features both feature and short films in a variety of genres and themes, including documentary, narrative, animation, experimental film, conservation, outdoor adventure, student films and more.

“Environmental concerns are at the forefront of our community’s collective consciousness and I believe this festival will further educate all nature lovers about other people doing great things around the world,” said Sue Eisaguirre, Founder and Executive Director of NatureTrack Foundation.

Films can be submitted to Filmfreeway.com.

Submissions will be accepted until June 30th.
