The Northern Lights, or Northern Lights, are on many bucket lists, and if you were in the right place at the right time, you might have been lucky enough to see them on Thursday night. Vibrant colors danced across the night sky. Sighting reports included along the Blue Ridge Parkway just outside of Asheville. Peter Forister Photography captured the stunning images and explosion of color of the Shenandoah Valley. “That night will forever be remembered as one of the most unexpected yet remarkable experiences I have had in Virginia,” Peter Forister posted on his Facebook page. The footage was captured near Big Meadows in the Shenandoah Valley. A violent geomagnetic storm has allowed the bright lights to travel this far south!
