Seggerman wins clincher as men’s tennis beats Georgia Tech, 5-2

ATLANTA, GA.—Ryan Seggerman won the deciding match fourth in the singles as the 11th-ranked North Carolina men’s tennis team beat Georgia Tech, 5-2, Friday afternoon.

UNC improved to 13-5 overall in 2023, including 5-1 in Atlantic Coast Conference action.

The Tar Heels won the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead, then secured singles wins from Logan Zapp, Karl Poling and Seggerman to clinch the team win. Benjamin Kittay also won the No. 6 single to complete the 5-2 win.

Carolina will return to action Sunday at Clemson.
