The fan-made VR mod for Half-Life 2 is now available

The Source VR Mod Team has released Half-Life 2 VR Mod Episode One for free on Steam, giving players the chance to experience a virtual reality adaptation of the classic first-person shooter. The mod offers support for all SteamVR headsets including Valve Index, Meta Quest 2 and HTC Vive and features a fully integrated radial menu, two-handed weapons and manual reloading. The VR Gravity Cannon is perhaps the mod’s biggest draw, allowing players to pick up and hurl objects and enemies using the Zero Point Energy Field manipulator.

The mod requires players to own the original Half-Life 2 Episode One on their account, but it is not necessary to have the game installed in order to play the VR conversion.
