Troy, business owner in NH, is facing damage after the Northeast last week

Companies in the Granite State have been hit hard by Nor’easter over the past week. Oliver Levick owns Granite Roots Brewing in Troy. Its “beer domes,” introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, have been crushed under snow. He said he had to cancel all reservations for the weekend. His other shop, Monadnock Berries in Troy, was also damaged. Some 6-7 foot blueberry bushes have been flattened. “I’ve never seen snow like this,” Levick said. “We currently have huge areas of our fields that you wouldn’t even know were berry bushes. They have been completely leveled and are covered in snow.” Levick said he keeps a positive attitude and is inspired to see teams working from everywhere to restore power. Another entity damaged after Northeast was the Goffstown Sportsdome. There was no official word on the direct reason for the dome’s deflation, but state officials said it was likely due to the heavy, wet snow that fell last week.
